The Uluwatu Temple is open for public from 07:00 to 19:00 everyday. The public facility such as car parking area and rest area is available in the temple complex.

Best time to visit Uluwatu Temple is under sunset time which is around 18:00. So it is advised to come there starting on 17:00. Hopefully no rain on that time then the tourist will see a spectacular sunset view on top cliff of Uluwatu.

Kecak Dance on Uluwatu Temple

Beside the architectural interest and the beauty of sunset time on Uluwatu, the visitors of Uluwatu can enjoy the spectacular show called Bali Kecak Dance, a traditional Balinese dance. The dance is perform by 50 - 100 dancers, male and female (dominated by male in person amount).

They are all sitting in a circle and wearing a back and white sheath (sarung) .

The dance story is usually about Ramayana. The characteristic is Kecak dance is on its sound 'cak,cak,cak' repeated on speedy time. The dance perform on around sunset time that is between 18:00 - 19:00 Bali time.

The Monkeys at Uluwatu Forest
