Bali car rental self drive is perfect for you if you already know Bali area as well, or you are Bali lover that always frequently visit the Island Paradise, then have a rental car and drive it by your own can be the best way. Not only you can decide where ever and when ever you need to go out with your car, but also you will have your own privacy rather than With Driver next to you.

Driving a car rental in Bali for self driven is highly advised, especially if you stay in Bali and will rent the car for more than 3 days. Choose to rent a car With the driver option will not give you flexibility of driving, especially regarding the place you want to go, and time.

If you rent the car for more than a week, it is absolutely you need Self drive choice. Furthermore, if you stay in various area which is quiet far from our home base in Kuta, such as Munduk, Tulamben, Amed, Menjangan, Lovina and so on, renting a car with the driver can be a little bit complicated.

This is because those area is far and thus the driver need to also overnight there at the same area of you. This is you must pay for extra cost to the driver for his meal and accommodation. Sounds easy to hear, but sometime this could be a problem.

For example, in the area like Menjangan there is only available 4 stars hotel which is expensive. While usually the driver is ok to spend the night at 1 star hotel or just inn or home stay, pay him for a 4 stars hotel in Menjangan is too expensive. For this reason some of the guest cancelled their stay because they do not want to pay the driver for more.

So once again renting a car in Bali with Self driven option could be the best thing to take for every car renter.

Our fleet (from small size to large size car) is able to drive to explore the island. You do not need to worry about it. But we need to remind that the Suzuki Jimny is the exception.

Although the Suzuki Jimny still popular among the renter but to remind that the car is quiet old. It was discontinued in 2003 and thus it is quiet an old car. All function of the car is working but please do not expect much. If you are a solo or couple traveler and need a small size car it is absolutely more convenience to rent another small-newer model car.

Unless you know exactly of what you expected from the Suzuki Jimny, than okay to just rent it.

To rent a small size car, or 4 seater car, we highly recommend you to rent the Toyota Agya or the Suzuki Estilo. These car is a newer car. It is perfect tp explore Bali island for a solo or a couple renter. You can move between the area in the island easier and safer. The small car rental Toyota Agya is available in Automatic gear option, while the Suzuki Estilo is all coming in Manual gear box.

For surfers or couples we have a small car fit with maximum 4 persons, 2 at the front and 2 at the back. But we recommend maximum is 2 person of you so you will have more spacious comfort area inside the car. For 4 persons it is still good if there are children in the group. The perfect car with the group is the Suzuki Estilo or Toyota Agya. It is a common small but aggressive enough car, especially for young travelers. The price rental is quiet cheap, so it must be a perfect vehicle for above type of travelers.

For the family that bringing more than 5 their family member, we do suggest to take Toyota Avanza, Daihatsu Taruna or Toyota Innova. Especially for Toyota Innova, it is a luxury car, so the price for renting is the most expensive one. But you will get the great return. It is very energy saving, you you do not need to spend much for the gasoline.

Before you leave for Bali, please do not forget with your International Driving Licence. It is a must to use it in Bali when you drive for your rental car. Otherwise the policeman will stop you should they know that you are not holding it.

You can obtain it in your country before your flight date, but if you do not have a time to obtain it in your country, we will help you out to get it here. Together we will goes to Police Department and process it for about 1 or 2 hours.

Self drive would never be fun with the map! So please get the map from your hotel accordingly, or you can get it out from our office, or when we meet at the airport or your hotel.
