Wearing a helmet is mandatory when riding a scooter in Bali. So when you rent a scooter the scooter rental company will give you a helmet along with the bike. If you are two people then they will give you two helmets. Always put your helmet on especially when riding on main street or the police officer will be happy to stop you!
A raincoat would be available only on rainy season. Two raincoats if you are two people. A raincoat will give you protection from rainwater during rainy season in Bali when you are riding your bike.
A pair of gloves is the thing that will be included in the motorbike renting. But pay attention it is usually available only on request. The gloves is important to protect back of hand when holding the steering wheel of the scooter from direct sun light on daylight. But if you do not think to need it you can just ignore this thing.
The scooter petrol will be fill up usually at least a half of tank. This is the standard in every scooter company when handing over the scooter to the renter on the first day. On the last day, when the renter return it, it must be also fill up at the same level of petrol, that is half tank.
A surf rack would be available upon request. The scooter equipped with a surf side at the bike side is only for the surfer. If you plan to use the motorbike for usual daily purpose then we will give you the one without surf rack.
Do not riding a bike in Bali without carrying its documents. Its a must! So do not forget to ask these document when handling over the bike. The scooter documents consist of two things: first scooter license and second scooter rental permit from government. Just in case the police stop you on the street and when they ask for the documents and you cannot show it up there will be a problem.
