So you decided to go to Bali for your next holiday and also decided to rent a car by self driven, no need driver. That is good choice. When you make a booking for car rental in Bali, there are two option you can receive your car; in your hotel, or directly at Bali Denpasar Airport on your arrival.

The gas station in Bali is called Pertamina. And the closest one from the airport be found just 1kilometer (0.7 mile). So after you pay a parking ticket in airport, just slowly drives and looks at the left side of the road. One kilometer after the airport you will see gas station there.

If you are using a GPS navigator, it will shows you on its screen an icon of gas station, usually altogether with Pertamina logo, dominated with red color on it.

When you’ve get there, we advise you to buy the petrol in full tank. Ask the officer to give you Premium (the cheapest type of fuel). If they are run of a stock, ask them to fill the car up with Pertalite (one class-higher fuel type).

For example you heading out directly to the North side of Bali just after landing at airport. The trip will need about 4 hours drives. Filled up the fuel in full tank in advance will guarantee you will reach the destination without buy another petrol in the middle of the trip.
