When people coming to Bali, first thing they must see is Kuta. That was an opinion for several years ago. But now days, thanks God that the tourism in Bali has been improving dramatically, especially after the first and the second Bali bombing, in 2002 and 2005. Not only Kuta, people who will coming to Bali for their holiday, advised to also visiting the north part of Bali, Lovina.
What will we get in Lovina? First, it is good for not only a young tourist, but also for the seniors. For the seniors, staying in Kuta can be say out of peace. The area is too crowded with the bars and nightlife. For the younger, especially for the couple, that is fine. But for the seniors, that is a problem.
For the family with some children, Kuta is not also recommended. Once again, the reason was just described above.
For those who is on the condition described, then, Lovina is the answers. The location is on the north Bali, and good for relaxing. The distance from Kuta is about 3 - 3.5 hours, with various routes to explore. Either you can go there (best way is by renting the car in Bali) via the beautiful Bedugul with Pura Ulun Danu, or Beratan Lake on it. Or, you can go there via Kintamani to see the Volcano and then heading to Singaraja.
Lovina is the highlands, with the black sand beach and warm water. The wave is also quiet so that it should be good for the swimmer.
Another interesting attraction you can find here is the dolphins. You can watch dolphins swimming around your boat. You can hire a boat to take you at the middle of the sea, with best time to do that is on early in the morning. Children will love them much!
