Markets:
Ubud Markets - The most palatable and airy of the local markets, a keen eye will spot some great souvenirs at bargain basement prices. Location is on Jalan Raya Ubud.

Sukawati Markets - Located in the fabric and craft center of Gianyar, the Sukawati market is a hive of activity at any time of the day. Bargain hard for some great pieces, particularly local textiles, basketware and ceremonial items.

Sanur and Kuta Markets - These two smaller art markets sell local fare and an eclectic collection of local fashions, sarongs, straw hats and the like.

Sunrise Organic Market - Held every Monday, Wednesday and Friday morning from 8 AM to midday, locally grown fresh fruit, salad and vegetables, as well as rice, jams, coffee, teas and more. Location is on Jalan Mertasari, Kerobokan near Kuta.

Bali Deli - A great delicatessen with all those imported food products that you've just been longing for. Location is on Jalan Kunti Seminyak.

Hero - A western-style supermarket stocking a good range of imported items. Location is on Jalan Teuku Umar Denpasar.

Alas Arum - One of the first catering to western tastes, they stock a sampling of everything. Location is on Sanur and Seminyak area.

Bintang - Shop in air-conditioned comfort with a choice of food, household items, art supplies and children's toys. Location is on the downtown of Seminyak area.

Gelael - Offering fresh fruits, vegetables, dairy products. Location is on Jalan Raya Kuta 105.

Matahari - Located on the lower floor of the Matahari stores, a good source for dry goods.

Pepito - Supermarket that offers a wide selection of fresh produce and grocery items as well as preprepared meals, salads and sandwiches. Location is on Jalan Kediri Tuban Bali.

Tragia - A slightly upmarket mini market, a quick stop for a few provisions. Location is on Jalan By Pass Nusa Dua, Nusa Dua Galleria and Jalan Diponegoro, Denpasar Bali.
